What happens in a coaching session?

Essentially, we are having a conversation.                                 Unlike an ordinary conversation, in coaching you will do most of the talking and I will do most of the listening. I will ask questions to fully understand the issue and to stimulate new perspectives, ideas and insights. We will work with various tools and materials.

If you choose to come for a mini-retreat (one day, one-and-a-half or two-day) we may include some of the following:      free-writing, free-drawing, walks, meditation, movement, Feldenkrais, inner enquiry, sea-swim, ...

How am I going to achieve my goal?

A new project can be very exciting and overwhelming at the same time. In the coaching sessions you can break that huge task down into small managable steps. When you can't see the wood for the trees coaching can bring clarity and direction. Then you'll be able to decide what needs to happen when, who needs to be involved, realign. You'll be happily accountable for your actions, learn from the things that didn't work out and celebrate your successes.

Loose Ends - New Beginnings

Life sometimes confronts us with endings or presents us with new beginnings. The loss of a loved one, the breakup of a relationship, leaving a job, a new challenge, a fresh start, time for change. If you find yourself in a situation like this, coaching can add value, insight and depth to the experience. You can meet the challenge purposefully and deliberately, you can have a richer understanding of the situation. Through the coaching process you can become clear about how you want to be, how you want to deal with things and experience that empowering freedom of choice.

Old friends pass away, new friends appear. It is just like the days. An old day passes, a new day arrives. The important thing is to make it meaningful: a meaningful friend - or a meaningful day.

Give me a break

It's all too much. How can I do less?

Sometimes we feel exhausted, stressed, anxious. All we want is a break. Is that allowed? Coaching can help you find ways to do less, focus on self-care, self-love. Becoming aware again that you actually are enough - just the way you are. Maybe a mini-retreat is just the right thing to help you reset.

Musing on the phrase 'waste of time.' So much more complex than it appears. Many 'wastes of time' - small talk, daydreaming - are imperatives.

Finding clarity and direction

What do I really want? How am I going to achieve that?

In order to make sure that you're on the right track, that you're heading in the right direction it is useful to take stock and reflect. Maybe a little  readjustment is needed or a distinct change of direction would be beneficial. Maybe what you really want isn't clear yet and you would like to spend some time finding it.

If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading.
